Cedar Rapids
The city, home to one of our administrative offices is Cedar Rapids. This city is CIPCO's original location with the largest number of staff representing all departments throughout the the organization.
Cedar Rapids has been voted in the top 100 places to live in the country; the #22 safest city; and in the top 50 of the best city for jobs. Above these points, Cedar Rapids and it's many surrounding smaller communities offer affordable housing and great schools.

Des Moines
Des Moines is on of the fastest growing metros in the Midwest. This city is the location of a second administrative office. Located in the center of our membership territory, it serves as a central location for many meetings and trainings held throughout the year.
Des Moines provides a mix of affordable living vibrant culture and outdoor activities while offering a balanced lifestyle with the charm of a small town with the conveniences of a larger urban area.

Creston
Creston Iowa is located in the rolling landscapes of southwest Iowa. CIPCO's Summit Lake generating facility and a transmission and dispatch crew is located in this state of the art facility. Recently expanded and remodeled this location facilitates our Member-owners throughout the entire CIPCO system.
Along with many other annual events and festivals, the Creston Iowa Annual Hot Air Balloon Days is a must see. This area of Iowa is home to lakes, publicly owned parks, woodlands, prairie and wetlands.

Wilton
Wilton, is a unique city in Iowa, located in Cedar and Muscatine counties along the eastern edge of the state. The CIPCO Wilton office is the home base for a transmission and dispatch crew. Wilton is only a few miles south of Interstate 80, and within driving distance of Muscatine, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids and the Quad Cities,.
The Quad Cities, less than an hour drive from Wilton consists of two Iowa cities and two Illinois cities. This unique metro is Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa and Rock Island and Moline, Illinois.
